I take pride in creating personalized, artistic legacies that honor the individuality of each of your furry family members.

As early as I can remember, I have loved dogs. As a child I took photos of neighborhood dogs and studied artistic instructional books to learn how to draw and paint them, step by step.

 

Molly, my first Dalmatian, came into my life in 1990 in Philadelphia, PA. Two years later, I flew to Las Cruces, New Mexico to get another Dal puppy, Skye, and decided to relocate to northern New Mexico that year. The absolute beauty and vastness of the landscape captured my imagination! The photograph below pictures me, Molly, Skye, Rose, and Reina in the courtyard of our new home.

The beautiful Dalmatian is Chase. Chase was rescued in Rio Chama, NM in 2005. We discovered he was deaf, and two years later he developed epilepsy. He was a sweet and loving boy. He left this world in 2017.

Sunny, of Sunny Skies, was rescued shortly after Chase died and as you can see, runs this website! Her pet portrait was the first of many and she remains a handful of energy and constant inspiration.
